BT has dismissed claims from its rivals that it has mismanaged its pension fund as “flawed” after Ofcom, the regulator, received submissions from the telecoms industry over whether to force companies such as TalkTalk and Cable & Wireless to shoulder some of the responsibility for its £9 billion pension deficit.
